The name CYPHOSTEMMA JUTTAE was given (renamed prevoius id) by the representative of the family Vitaceae –  Bernard M. Descoings in 1967. This caudiciform plant is found in Namibia and South Africa. C. juttae growing in a well drained soil with some water and some to lots of sun. The caudex can grow up to 80 centimetres in diameter and the plant reaches op to 2,5 meters. The flowers are yellowgreenish. The fruits are red and their are poison.
